Life in Year 4

In P.E, we have been practising ball skills as part of our unit on Invasion games.

In geography, we are looking at our environment. We started by using maps to help us locate recycling centres. Recycling is a topic we look closely at, as we think it is a useful way to help our environment.

Here are our new school council representatives.

Science - In science we have been talking about electricity. Here we investigated how to make a circuit.

Building Bridges - We had a wonderful morning meeting up with our linking school Lomeshaye Primary School. We took part in lots of team building games.

Pendle Dogs visited our school and we learned about their wonderful work in the community

In Design and Technology, we have been practising making free-standing structures with cocktail sticks and blu-tack

We had fun dressing up for World Book Day and sharing some of our favourite books.

For International Women's Day, some of our Y4 girls played in a football event. They even got to meet Bertie Bee!
